Bournemouth Air Festival iPhone app
The Bournemouth Air Festival’s official 2010 App for iPhone, iPod and iPad provides festival goers with a complete guide of the four days event. Including details of the aircraft displays to the schedule of events you’ll soon find everything you need to know within this free app available to download from iTunes App Store .
The Bournemouth Air Festival App includes, for the first time this year, a full programme of events that has details of the flight schedules of all the air displays, day and night time events. The app’s interactive Venue Map makes sure that you are never far away from something to do with over 200 points of interest including nearby attractions, amenities, places to eat and much more.
The Venue Map uses GPS to highlight your location and showcase the nearby points of interest with a distance marker so you know how far it is from your current location.
The app features each of the aircraft in this year’s display including a fast facts section within engine noises.
The full programme of events listed in the app makes sure that there is no need to miss out on any of the events during the four day festival. The programme for events on the ground and at night are free while the air display programme can be purchased using the iPhone in-app-purchase features. ‘In the Air’ programmes can be purchased for each day or a full four-day programme covers all the action.
